Unobtrusive validation rules aren't being fired on the client

I wasn't able to get the client side validation working so I dug into the javascript a bit and found that if I add

at the end of mvcfoolproof.unobtrusive.js (before the last set of brackets) the rules work on the client. I don't know if this is an error in the code or a change in the setup of unobtrusive validation/MVC. Am I doing something wrong or have I found a bug?

I also dug into this. It looks like MVC unobtrusive uses an adapters array to bind the elements to validation methods. I have added adapters for each of the methods in the MvcFoolproofJQueryValidation and it seems to work again. I think that maybe jqueryvalidation.unobtrusive has changed at some point,.
